Raspberry Pi-Phylogeny

Staff at the School of Biology at the University of St Andrews have released one of the first phylogeny reconstruction programs available for the Raspberry Pi.

The Raspberry Pi is an inexpensive computer, developed by the Raspberry Pi foundation to encourage children to experiment with computers and programming. Despite its low price, the Raspberry Pi is also capable of performing serious analyses in biology education and research.

For more information on the Raspberry Pi, see: http://www.raspberrypi.org

To download the phylogeny reconstruction software, LVB 2.31 for Raspberry Pi, see: http://eggg.st-andrews.ac.uk/lvb/
