enSight:engaging collaborative art installations between scientists and artists

enSight is an open competition running January-March 2006, to be judged in Edinburgh by a panel of contemporary and science art curators. Winning pieces will be exhibited during the OneEighty Festival in April 2006. The final pieces will be triptychs composed of:

• The original image from the scientist;
• A rough sketch or composition of the artist's initial reaction to the image;
• Artwork, in any media, created by the artist after discussions with the researcher.
