Professor Tom Meagher awarded Leverhulme Research Fellowship

Professor Tom Meagher has been awarded a Leverhulme Research Fellowship for 16 months, to commence in June 2007. The project title is "Matching population biology to policy need in conservation of biodiversity". The Fellowship will support development of research efforts in the area of global biodiversity conservation, and in particular will support field work in Madagascar (in collaboration with researchers at RBG-Kew) dedicated to in situ conservation asessments in a biodiversity 'hot spot' under threat from various drivers of biodiversity loss.
