DNA in the Garden
The DNA in the Garden exhibition opens this weekend at St Andrews Botanic Garden. It features the Talking Cell model made by Henry Rae and Murray Coutts and research on DNA in the School of Biology, as well as the BBSRC exhibition that was planned to mark the 50th anniversary of the discovery of the double helix.
Come and have a chat to the Talking Cell and see if you can recognise the voices of your colleagues!
The exhibition will be open every weekend 10.30 to 16.00 up until October 24th. Activity days will be held on alternate saturdays (starting this weekend)- suitable for all ages. More information is on the Press release on the University home page, on the St Andrews Botanic Garden website and also on BBSRC's website.
Entrance to the garden costs £2 adults, £1 children - exhibition costs nothing once you are into the garden.
